How Auxe handles your information.
Auxe is an AI music platform for discovering, uploading, and listening to music. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, and the choices you have when using Auxe.
This policy applies to auxe.co.za and the Auxe Android app.
Information We Collect
When you create an account, we may collect your display name, email address, password hash, artist name, profile image, optional real name, optional bio, and subscription status. If you upload music, we store the track details, album information, artwork, audio files, and related metadata you provide.
When you use Auxe, we may store playlist activity, consent requests between artists, playback counts, basic technical logs, and information needed to keep the service secure and working correctly.
How We Use Information
We use your information to provide account access, display artist profiles and music, manage uploads, process playlists, count plays, handle artist consent requests, support subscriptions, prevent abuse, and improve the Auxe experience.
Music, Artwork, and Artist Content
Music, artwork, artist names, album names, profile images, and public bios uploaded to Auxe may be visible to other users and visitors. Only upload content you have the right to share.
Payments
Paid subscription checkout may be handled by Payfast. Auxe does not store full card details. Payment providers may process payment information according to their own privacy and security policies.
Advertising and Affiliate Links
Free users may see advertising, including Google AdSense ads. Advertising partners may use cookies, device information, or similar technologies to show and measure ads. Auxe may also display affiliate links, such as links to music creation tools. Paid users are intended to receive an ad-free Auxe experience.
Cookies and Sessions
Auxe uses cookies or similar session technologies to keep users logged in, protect forms, and remember basic account state. Disabling cookies may stop some account features from working.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with service providers only when needed to run Auxe, such as hosting, payment processing, email delivery, advertising, security, or legal compliance.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect Auxe accounts and data. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your login details private.
Your Choices
You can update your profile information from your account area. You may contact us to request help with account access, account deletion, profile updates, or questions about your data.
Children
Auxe is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Auxe, please contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.
